Mike is a Shareholder at Newton, O’Connor, Turner & Ketchum, where he practices in the areas of Government Relations, Business Formation, Business Transactions, Corporate and Commercial Law.

Mike brings his extensive government background and experience to NOTK, after serving in both Washington D.C. and Oklahoma as Chief of Staff for then Congressman Steve Largent.  From February 16, 2009 through May 26, 2009, Mike served as the Acting Executive Director of the Oklahoma State University Medical Center Trust and was responsible for carrying out the execution of the Trust's business as directed by the Trustees.  This time period encompassed the transfer of the Oklahoma State University Medical Center from Ardent Health Systems to the Trust.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University, and was awarded a Juris Doctor degree, with highest honors, from The University of Tulsa College of Law. In law school, Mike was the recipient of multiple American Jurisprudence Awards; and was a member of the Tulsa Law Journal, Phi Kappa Phi and the Order of Barristers. Mike was also admitted into the Order of the Curule Chair - the highest honor conferred by the College of Law.

Mike is a member of the Tulsa County and Oklahoma bar associations, and the American Inns of Court. He is admitted to practice in all state courts of Oklahoma.
